Overlapping operating areas

The tube must be placed in the case. So far so good, but how do you manage this in the smallest space without losing flexibility?

Roboblock expanded by third robot

The answer is provided by the RB 12-X Roboblock, which has been extended by a third robot for this purpose. The first robot picks up the tubes from  the pre-collation, rotates them in the gripper head and places them in the carrier. The other two robots are responsible for erecting the cases and loading the tubes. Since the operating ranges of the three robots which work together are overlapping, very precise and dynamic programming is a prerequisite. In this way, the Roboblock packs 72 tubes or delivers 12 cases per minute, which are sealed with self-adhesive tape.
